Built to accommodate hundreds of cars, with almost constant traffic bringing with it a host of environmental elements—oil, dirt, water, salt de-icers, etc.—concrete parking structures are expected to withstand conditions that require upkeep and repair. Temperature fluctuations alone can compromise a well-built concrete structure over time, causing cracks that can allow water infiltration, which will create larger fractures that will seriously distress a concrete parking structure, especially if it reaches the steel rebar. A complete high-strength concrete repair system for parking structures is vital to proper maintenance.
Our concrete rehabilitation products can be applied in a number of different systems for your particular structural issues. Transpo’s T-17 is renowned for its ability to repair existing concrete. Flood-coating the surface with Sealate® or T-78 crack sealer seals the surface; then applying a final coat of Color-Safe® pavement marking material that both waterproofs and creates the uniform look of new concrete completes the process, making for a comprehensive rehabilitation of the surface.
