High friction surface treatments significantly increase surface friction reducing run off the road accidents on hazardous curves. Transpo offers two binders for HFST, Transpo’s T-28 HFST Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) resin binder and Transpo’s E-Bond 526 HFST Epoxy resin binder. Both are capable of rapid cure on concrete and asphalt surfaces, and when incorporated with broadcast aggregate these high friction surface treatments can greatly reduce accident and fatality rates on hazardous roadways.
